To turn off the Office Clipboard, click the Close button on the Clipboard task pane.

When finished, click Clear All to remove all items from the Office Clipboard.

Set the insertion point in the document where you wish to paste one of the items from the Office Clipboard.

Once you exit Word, all items from the Office Clipboard are removed. Note that the Office Clipboard collects items you copy only while the Clipboard Task Pane is visible.

Each item that you copy or cut (up to 24) will be individually placed in the Clipboard for your later use. Then, use the standard copy or cut commands.

To use the Office Clipboard feature, ensure that the Clipboard Task Pane is visible by clicking the Clipboard Dialog Launcher on the bottom right corner of the Clipboard command group.
